Check Your Voter Status

Voting works best when your information is up to date.
You can check your registration status, address, and polling location in just a few minutes using official Georgia tools.

If You’ve Moved or Changed Your Name

If you’ve moved, changed your name, or haven’t voted in a while, your registration information may need an update.

Updating your information is fast and free.

What ‘Inactive’ Means (and What It Doesn’t)

Being marked “inactive” does not mean you’ve lost your right to vote.

It usually means election mail couldn’t be confirmed at your address.

In many cases, voting or updating your information restores active status.

If you’re unsure, checking your status is the fastest way to see what, if anything, you need to do.

When and Where to Vote

Polling locations and early voting dates can change between elections.

Always double-check before you go.

Help Someone Else Check

Voting works best when people help each other.

If you’ve checked your status, consider reminding a friend or family member to do the same.
