Where to stand (important):

We will be on the public sidewalk along Ridgewalk Parkway, flanking the main entrance to the outlet mall:

  • In front of McDonald’s - 931 Ridgewalk Pkwy, Woodstock, GA 30188

  • In front of Applebee’s - 901 Ridgewalk Pkwy, Woodstock, GA 30188

Do not stand in the roadway, parking lots, or store entrances. Sidewalk only.

What’s happening:

We’re holding a peaceful, visible sign-waving protest during peak shopping hours to highlight two realities families are facing right now:

  • ICE is tearing families apart and disappearing parents

  • Tariffs are raising the cost of everyday goods

The Christmas story is about authoritarian power, fear, and survival. Families today are living through the same dynamics. As part of this action, we will stage a live nativity. In this nativity:

  • Mary and Joseph are migrants seeking safety

  • Joseph has been taken by ICE

  • Mary and baby Jesus are left alone, seeking sanctuary

What to bring:

  • Signs that are bold and readable from a car

  • Comfortable shoes

  • Weather-appropriate clothing

Suggested messages include:

  • “ICE Is Tearing Families Apart”

  • “No Room at the Inn”

  • “Joseph Taken by ICE”

  • “Tariffs Raise Prices”

  • “Families Pay the Price”

Legal & safety notes:

  • This is a lawful, non-permitted protest on public sidewalks

  • We will not block sidewalks, entrances, or traffic

  • Stay calm, visible, and non-confrontational

  • Do not engage with hostile individuals

Why this location:

The outlet mall is where rising prices and family stress are already top of mind. This is where economic pressure and moral consequences collide in real time.
