Are you interested in serving as a Safety Marshal for our April 19 protest? This brief but essential 30-minute virtual training will walk you through everything you need to know to help keep our protest safe, calm, and organized.

As a Safety Marshal, you’ll serve a vital role:

🔸 Monitoring for safety hazards

🔸 Helping participants navigate the route and stay on sidewalks

🔸 Watching for counter-protesters or emergency situations

🔸 Assisting with group movement and spacing

🔸 Supporting de-escalation plans, if needed

We’ll cover protest safety best practices, key points from Indivisible’s national protest safety guidelines, what to expect at the event, how to identify and report issues, and where to go for help. You’ll also get a chance to ask questions and connect with other marshals.

Whether this is your first time volunteering or you're a seasoned organizer, this quick session will ensure you’re ready to help make our action impactful and safe for everyone.

This training is recommended for all Safety Marshals participating in the April 19 event.
