New Member Orientation: Welcome to Woodstock CAN!

Across Cherokee County, people are stepping up to protect our freedoms, support our neighbors, and keep our community strong. If you are ready to be part of that work, this orientation is your starting point.

This session is designed for new members and anyone curious about joining, and experienced members are also welcome. We will walk through how our membership process works, why verification matters for safety and trust, and how members help guide the direction of our group. We will also review upcoming actions, events, and opportunities that everyone in the organization can take part in.

You will get a clear picture of how to plug into ongoing projects, how we make decisions, and how we stay connected and coordinated as we organize together.

We will explain how verification works now that membership conversations and onboarding have moved into group orientation. You will learn what information we gather, why it matters for safety and trust, and how verification connects you to upcoming projects and decision making. This session gives you everything you need to become a verified member and step fully into the team that moves this work forward.
