Why We’re Voting for Peter Hubbard — NOT Keisha Waites

Sometimes it’s important to say things plainly.
Keisha Sean Waites has run for public office at least 20 times in the past 23 years.
That’s not a typo — twenty campaigns in twenty-three years.
And here’s the pattern: when she wins, she quits.
She won a seat in the Georgia House in 2012. She quit that job in 2017 to run for something else.
She won an At-Large seat on the Atlanta City Council in 2021. She quit in 2024 — mid-term — to run for a different office again.
Now, she’s running for yet another position — this time for Public Service Commissioner.
This is not public service. It’s self-promotion.
And in times like these — when corporate power is running roughshod over working families, when our utility bills keep climbing, and when Georgia’s Public Service Commission desperately needs real accountability — we need someone who will stay the course and fight for us.
That’s why we’re voting for Peter Hubbard in the PSC Democratic Special Primary Runoff on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 — and we urge you to do the same.
Important Election Details — READ THIS:

Two early voting locations:
Cherokee County Elections Office, 193 Lamar Haley Parkway, Canton

Bottom line: We need a Public Service Commissioner who will show up, serve the full term, and fight for everyday Georgians — not someone using the office as a stepping stone.
