Sips & Civics: Cherokee Board of Commissioners

Join fellow Indivisible members for Sips & Civics — a casual pre-meeting gathering followed by civic action at the Cherokee County Board of Commissioners Regular Meeting!

We'll kick things off with drinks and discussion at 7 Tequilas (1435 Riverstone Pkwy, Canton, GA 30114) starting at 4:30 PM. Come early to grab a margarita (or your drink of choice), review the meeting agenda together, and strategize on local issues that matter to our community.

Around 5:45 PM (or when we're ready), we'll head out for the short ~7-minute drive to the Cherokee County Admin Complex (Cherokee Hall, 1130 Bluffs Parkway, Canton, GA 30114). Important: No drinking and driving — designate a driver, use a rideshare, or carpool responsibly.

The Regular Meeting starts at 6:00 PM (Work Session at 3:00 PM, Public Hearing potentially at 7:30 PM if applicable — all open to the public).

Bring your voice!

• Make or bring a sign supporting an Anti-ICE stance or highlighting another pressing local issue that affects us here in Cherokee County.

• If you don't have one, no worries — we'll have a few extras available to share.

These meetings are your chance to show up, stay informed, and make your presence felt on decisions impacting our neighborhoods. Public participation is encouraged — let's be there together!
