Non-Violent Direct Action Training

Every generation has faced moments when powerful interests tried to silence us. Today’s far right is no different. They want us disorganized and afraid. But when we prepare together, we flip the script: our discipline, safety, and courage become the story.

We just learned there is space for many more participants at this Saturday’s Non-Violent Direct Action Training, a joint event by Indivisible Georgia Coalition and 50501 GA. This is a rare chance to build protest strategy and street action skills with an experienced trainer, and we want as many people as possible to join.

In this interactive workshop, you’ll reflect on your personal theory of change, practice strategizing effective actions, and learn hands-on street tactics including crowd solidarity and horizontal decision-making.

The training is led by Blue, a longtime Atlanta organizer trained at Standing Rock, L’eau Est La Vie, Rising Tide, and more. She has taught with Extinction Rebellion and Ruckus Society, and brings experience as a street medic and jail support volunteer.
