About The Event
Why “Antifascist Boogaloo”?
It comes from the meme. Back in the 80s, the movie Breakin’ 2: Electric Boogaloo was such an over-the-top sequel that “X 2: Electric Boogaloo” became internet shorthand for any ridiculous sequel. (Watch the so-bad-it-might-be-legendary trailer here: https://youtu.be/9YaNKBmRNvY) That’s exactly how we feel: we shouldn’t have to keep staging sequel protests just to defend basic rights against fascism — but here we are. So welcome to No Kings Part Deux: the Antifascist Boogaloo.
This is an unpermitted First Amendment sidewalk protest. We will have safety marshals and medics on site. We ask everyone to prepare for a peaceful demonstration and to practice de-escalation if there is any aggression.

The far-right is trying to control who belongs in our community, silence our voices, and decide our futures. Together, we are sending a clear message: no kings, no dictators, no bullies for the billionaires.
Why now?
Project 2025 and Trump’s MAGA allies are pushing to strip away freedoms, from healthcare and education to reproductive rights and immigrant safety. They want to rule over us instead of representing us. By showing up in public together, we remind them that the many will defeat the money.
Dress and Spirit:
Wear red, white, and blue.
Bring your American flags.
This event is for all real patriots who oppose Trump’s attempted dictatorship. Whether you are a common-sense Republican, a jaded independent, a Democrat who wishes the party would do more to resist, or a Christian tired of Christian nationalism hijacking your faith—this protest is for you.
Bring:
Homemade signs and banners
Water, snacks, and weather-appropriate clothing
A buddy system, phone numbers written on your arm, and anything you need to feel safe
A mindset of nonviolence and readiness to de-escalate
Friends, family, and anyone ready to stand up for liberty and justice for all
This is a peaceful, visible action. We look out for each other and make our presence undeniable.
⚖️ Know Your Rights
You have the right to protest peacefully on public sidewalks without a permit, as long as you are not blocking pedestrian traffic.
You can carry signs and chant, but stay on the sidewalk and do not block driveways or streets.
Police may approach, but you do not have to provide ID unless you are being detained under suspicion of a crime.
If anything escalates, follow safety marshal instructions and practice de-escalation.
