About The Event
🛠 DRESS THE PART. BRING A SIGN. STAND WITH WORKERS.
This May Day, we stand together as the people who keep this town running—workers who teach our kids, care for the sick, grow our food, build our homes, and serve our neighbors.
No matter your job or background, we all deserve a fair shot: fair pay, personal freedom, safe communities, and leaders who work for us, not just for billionaires and backroom lobbyists.
Too many of those freedoms are being chipped away—by people in power who treat workers like a cost to cut, not a voice to listen to.
We say no more.
👕 Dress up as a worker—your job, or one you admire.
🪧 Make a sign that shows what that worker deserves—and what’s at risk.
👨👩👧 This is a peaceful, family-friendly protest.
✊Wear red, white, and blue to show we are the real patriots.
🚫 No profanity on signs—our message is strong without it.
🛠 WHAT IS MAY DAY?
May Day—International Workers’ Day—honors the people who built this country.
It began with American workers striking in 1886 for the eight-hour workday. When police opened fire on protesters at Chicago’s Haymarket Square, it became a global symbol of the fight for dignity on the job.
Governments around the world now recognize May 1st as a day to stand with labor. But in the U.S., we’ve been told to forget.
We remember. May Day belongs to us. And we’re reclaiming it.

May Day isn’t a memory. It’s a movement. This is our moment to show who really makes this town strong. Not Wall Street. Not the lobbyists. The workers. The people. Us.
