About The Event

For years, Home Depot parking lots have functioned as informal hiring sites for day laborers, many of whom are immigrants seeking honest work to support their families. By permitting ICE access to these spaces, Home Depot enables the intimidation, detention, and deportation of workers who are simply trying to survive.

Corporations do not exist outside of moral responsibility. When a company allows its property to be used as a site of immigration enforcement, it becomes complicit in harm - tearing families apart, destabilizing communities, and contributing to fear and exploitation of workers.

Join us in demanding Home Depot: 1.) Publicly call for an immediate end to the ICE “surge” into MN and for ICE and CBP to leave the state; 2.) The officers who killed Renee Good and Alex Pretti must be held legally accountable. Demand legitimate investigations with state involvement. 3.) Exercise their 4th Amendment rights and publicly post signage denying entrance to on-duty immigration agents who do not have signed judicial warrants as required by law, as well train staff on how to respond when immigration agents arrive at stores. 4.) Publicly call for Congress to freeze funding for ICE.

This rally is about dignity, accountability, and the right to seek work without fear. We stand in solidarity with immigrant workers and demand that Home Depot choose people over profit and justice over convenience.

  • Please use discretion when choosing where to park. We encourage participants to follow posted signage and local parking regulations, to be respectful of nearby businesses and residents, and to consider patronizing local businesses when possible. *
