Thank you for signing up to glean at the Woodstock Farmer's Market! We look forward to partnering with you to help reduce food waste and feed our hungry neighbors.
📅 Date: Every Saturday (rain or shine), until December 20th
⏰ Time: 11:30 am-12:30 pm
📍 Location: Volunteers will park in the rear parking lot of Bank OZK, 8770 Main St, Woodstock, GA 30188. The market is less than one minute away from the parking lot.
✅ What to expect: Volunteers will collect excess produce from various vendors at the Woodstock Farmers Market before closing at 12:00 pm. They estimate that around 40-65 lbs of produce will be available to be gleaned each Saturday, post-market.
🙋🏽♀️🙋🏽♂️ We are looking for more volunteers who believe in our mission of reducing food waste on the farmer's market level & feeding those in need in the local area. We are asking for a 1x/month commitment from each volunteer. Volunteers will be given all the necessary information, a walk-thru of the market, vendors introduction & gleaning equipment.
Please bring water and wear comfortable clothing & shoes, sunscreen and a hat.
