About The Event
Join us on Saturday, December 13 from 11 AM to 1 PM at 63 Ernest W Barrett Pkwy NW in Marietta as we gather on the public sidewalk during Rep. Barry Loudermilk’s “Restoring the Constitution” talk.
Across race, faith, and background, people in our community believe the Constitution is a living promise that still protects checks and balances, voting rights, and peaceful transfers of power. When an elected official claims to defend that promise, their actions should match their words.
Right now in 2025, Barry Loudermilk is doing the opposite. He continues to present himself as a champion of constitutional principles while supporting efforts that weaken them. He has defended attempts to put the executive branch above accountability, echoed narratives that excuse attacks on the peaceful transfer of power, and backed limits on voting access that reduce the ability of Georgians to participate in their own democracy. He talks like a constitutional guardian while helping advance an agenda that concentrates power and restricts rights.
Our message:
If you believe in the Constitution, your actions should match your words.
Parking:
There appears to be plenty of parking at the speaking location and in the adjoining shopping center lot. Please remain on public sidewalks during the event.
What to wear:
Red, white, and blue clothing is encouraged. American flags are welcome. Patriotic visuals reinforce that the Constitution belongs to the people.
If you have experience as a medic, deescalator, or safety marshal, please bring your vest and any standard equipment you normally carry. Your presence helps keep the event calm, organized, and accessible for everyone.
