Immigrant communities across the country are under attack, and authoritarian forces are gaining ground. At the same time, more and more people are stepping up with courage, clarity, and discipline to push back.
Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ) and the Solidarity Organizing Initiative (SOI) are hosting a two-part training series for anyone who wants to take action in solidarity. It’s especially designed for white people and citizens who are ready to organize, respond, and show up with commitment and care.
What: Solidarity Mobilizations Training (2 sessions)

Session 1 – Building Clarity & Power
Recognize and anticipate “Moments of Crisis” in the authoritarian playbook
Connect direct support with crisis response in immigrant justice organizing
Ground yourself in the principles of strategic noncooperation
Learn how to start a SURJ Circle and begin organizing locally
Session 2 – Deepening Solidarity
Learn practical ways to provide direct support to immigrant communities
Identify concrete next steps for your community work
Whether you’re brand new or have years of experience, this training will equip you with political clarity, strategic tools, and a path to take meaningful action.
