Trick-or-Treat at Loudermilk’s — Stop MAGA’s Shutdown

We’ll keep it short, smart, and highly visible. 

When: Friday, October 31 · Meet 11:00 AM

Where: Loudermilk’s office (our usual spot). 9898 GA-92 Woodstock, GA 30188

If doors are closed, we stay outside for at least 1 hour.

Rain or shine (I’m leaning yes; speak up if you want to shift—otherwise plan to proceed).

What I’m bringing

• One big group sign: “Trick or Treat, Barry — Stop MAGA’s Shutdown.”

What you bring & do

• Bring a small sign if you can. If you don’t have time, just show up.

• Optional props: mini candy bags with short notes (“Stop MAGA’s Shutdown,” “Healthcare Not Authoritarianism,” “No Treats Till You Stop the Tricks”).

• We’ll walk in together if open; if closed, we hold the line outside.

• Each person says one line to staff/camera: “Please tell Rep. Loudermilk to stop supporting the shutdown and do his job.”

• We’ll film quick 10–20s clips per person (respectful, direct).

Our message:

Republicans shut down the government to rip away healthcare, jack up premiums, and hand Trump another blank check for his illegal power-grab. Democrats are holding the line; our job is to hold Republicans accountable, document local impacts, and keep pressure on for a bipartisan deal that protects healthcare and reins in Trump’s abuse of funds.
