About The Event
Religion has been used to justify a lot of things in this country—some beautiful, some horrific. We’re building a community that knows the difference.
Indivisible Woodstock CAN’s Faith & Freedom Committee brings together people of all backgrounds—religious, spiritual, secular, and everything in between—to stand up against the political misuse of faith. Christian nationalism, religious extremism, and moral hypocrisy threaten both democracy and human dignity. We’re here to push back.
This is not a prayer group. It’s a working group.
Whether you were raised in church, practice a minority faith, left religion behind, or are still figuring it out—you are welcome. If you care about protecting the right to believe (or not believe) without government control or political abuse, this space is for you.
We’ll welcome new members, share experiences, and plan actions to confront religious manipulation in schools, government, and community life. Together, we’ll uplift compassion, truth, and real freedom for everyone in Cherokee County.
🛡️ Security Note: We send out the Zoom link through Mobilize on the day of the event—sometimes close to the start time. Please check your email (including spam and promotions folders). If you have any trouble, email us at hello@woodstockcan.org. We know it’s inconvenient, but this helps keep bad actors out of our meetings.
